On the evening of June 4, 2002, I was given an opportunity to present my lecture on "Diet and Depression" at the Westin Hotel & Conference Center in Southfield, Michigan. The lecture was well received by an enthusiastic audience consisting of over 600 African American Women and was covered in the July 10-19, 2002, edition of "The Michigan Chronicle" (see below). Shortly before the lecture, I was interviewed by WWJ-950 NEWS RADIO reporter Ms. Pat Sweeting. This interview was aired on numerous occasions on WWJ to millions of Detroit-area listeners.
